Description
The covered pot is in very good condition, no accidents, no cracks or lacks. Note a very superficial enamel jump of three millimeters inside the lid, near the outer edge. It is made of red earth, was turned, then enameled. Pretty ceramic of rather rustic appearance, with very free brown and green graphic patterns traced with a brush, enhanced by touches of orange enamel, on a white background. The piece is marked on the reverse, in hollow, of the mark of antoine fazio, potter in vallauris. Ideal to use as a small presentation dish, it can also serve as a sugar bowl, or why not as a pocket tray. French work of the 50s-60s.
