Ancient stoneware jug with handle — Gray patina, flared neck

Small handled pot in stoneware, found in Touraine. An old storage pot for oil, fat, or milk, from a regionally produced handmade craft. Slightly bulging body marked by turning, collar with a rim, gray patina with light spots. Glazed on the inside, it holds water: a bouquet of dried flowers or a few branches fit it very well. Condition: good condition, signs of use and irregularities typical of a handmade turned piece. Dimensions: L 12 × P 9 × H 13 cm.
