Table and 4 green water formica chairs 60's

Formica set of the 60s consisting of a table and its 4 matching chairs. This set is exceptional for the following reasons: The rarity of a complete set of the colmon brand historically based in thonon-les-bains. Each chair are perfectly labelled "colmon" on the seating edge. These chairs are uniquely designed to this brand, wave-shaped seat profile, slices painted black with a thickness of 2cm, back in atypical tubular curve. The preservation of surfaces in almost perfect formica. The table and chairs are made with a very good wood base and thick chrome tubular supports. The table has 2 very solid extensions with the presence of a wooden drawer under one of them, this one having an original handle in excellent condition and typically 60's. Water green colour whose pastel hue is a classic of the 50s/60s. Note: this table has a base whose main tray is very easily removed as well as its 2 extension cords. The wooden base is painted in creamy dark white on the visible exterior, these parts are in good condition, the interior of this wooden base is also painted but flaked. Important to note that all chromes are in very good condition on the table and chairs, however only one chair has more wear marks than the other 3, this is visible in the photos, these traces are mainly placed on the back/side of the back and on the side/front parts of the seat. In addition, each of the 4 chairs have paint wear on the side front of the wooden seating slices, this being very easily modifiable with little black paint. Table dimensions: 99cm l / 69cm l / 78cm h - 2x29cm extension cords. Despite these isolated traces of time, this set remains of perfect balance, a high-end formica style and a very high level of solidity.
