Brutalist Wrought Iron and Opaline Glass Table Lamp, Spain, circa 1960s-1970s Hand-forged table lamp from Spain, made of wrought iron with a white opaline glass globe. Three broad iron legs with hammered, chiseled edges curve down into scrolled feet. Each foot ends in a tightly ribbed coil. The legs meet at a central column, topped by a crown of cut iron leaves that holds the globe. The forging marks are left visible throughout, and the surface has a gilded finish over dark iron that has worn back to bare metal along the edges and high points. The globe is smooth, milky white opaline glass with no visible chips or cracks. It diffuses the light evenly and sits cleanly in the leaf crown Th lamp has received a new plug and is equipped for a general E14 lightbulb and is in great working condition
