Vintage 1960s Luxo L1 architect lamp, black - 80 cm

Antique Luxo L1 architect's lamp in black lacquered metal, circa 1960, in good condition. This magnificent vintage piece, designed by Jacob Jacobsen, has sold over a million copies since its creation. (It is the descendant or evolution of the famous Pixar lamp, the designer's lamp.) The color is superb, it shows signs of age and a very pleasant patina. It is pricked just the right amount, as are the springs. Special mention should be made of the thick clamp, which allows for numerous adjustments. It is signed on the base, and the famous US Patent is found on the top. It works with a screw-in bulb (not included), and the push-button switch on the top of the corolla works. It measures 80 cm in height, 70 cm in depth, and the corolla is 21 cm wide.
