Marble bookend art deco style

Be careful some defects to report. Massive pair of antique marble bookends. They are composed of two gray marble plates on which rest an imposing sphere, smooth globe in beige marble (beautiful rib marks) and a very graphic triangular geometric shape of richly iridescent pink color. Dimensions: 18cm long, 12.5cm high, 8cm wide. The globe is 8cm in diameter. Spheres and plates can unscrew. Note: some traces of wear (see photos). One of the plates is easily removed (see photo) but no more problem once the books are in place, can easily be glued. Vintage style object of minimalist nature and very graphic. Distinguished object, atypical and made of noble materials. Use it on a fireplace apron, in a library of character among old works and artistic objects. It can also be suitable in a cabinet or on a wooden work desk.
