Victorian brass floor standard lamp by R. W. Winfield, Birmingham

Outstanding victorian height adjustable standard lamp, having extending column terminating in fluted circular base supported on three beautifully decorated uprights with acanthus leaves united by fretwork crown, all standing on leafy scrolls terminating in pad feet. This antique lamp has been cleaned and polished, professionally rewired and pat tested. Stamped by r. W and a serial number. R.w. Winfield, birmingham. R.w. Winfield were prominent exhibitors at the birmingham exhibition of 1849 and at the great exhibition of 1851. Lampshade not included. C1880. H46-72" w14.5" d14.5" H118-184cm w37cm d37cm.
