Set of 5 "Montgolfière" chairs in solid mahogany – Napoleon III period

Very beautiful homogeneous set of 5 Napoleon III period chairs (19th century). • Wood: Structure in solid mahogany, offering a superb original patina and deep reflections. Very nice curvature work on the balloon back and a lovely arch on the front legs. • Style & Model: Chairs known as "Montgolfière" or with a "balloon" back, a great classic that is elegant and timeless. • Seat & Comfort: Upholstered in soft-touch olive/sage green velvet fabric. Neatly finished with a nailhead trim all around the seat. • Condition: In very good overall condition for their age. The wood is healthy, sturdy, and the joints are stable. The seats are firm and clean, with no sagging (straps and underside in good condition, see photos). Dimensions (standard for this model) • Total height: 89 cm. • Seat height: approx. 45 cm.
