We are delighted to offer for sale this stunning antique Chinese Chinoiserie bench, handmade with a fabric covering adorned with golden dragons and decorated with carved Geisha girls in steatite and mother-of-pearl dresses. A truly breathtaking piece, this furniture is a pure work of art from every angle. The fabric features hundreds of small golden Chinese dragons, while the outer panels showcase large carved Geishas in steatite with mother-of-pearl dresses. The condition is charming given its age and use; a beaded skirt has been broken and then repaired, otherwise it appears almost perfect for its era.
