This Scandinavian teak wall unit with a hidden desk comes from Norway from the 1960s. It is a completely modular shelving system model called “Ergo, ” designed by John Texmon and Einar Blindheim for Blindheim Møbelfabrikk. The overall set size is H: 189 / W: 166 / D: 36 cm. It features a practical drop-down door cabinet, with an inner shelf and compartments, that can also serve as a hidden desk, a display cabinet with a characteristic pattern, a display shelf for vinyl records, pictures, or plates, and five shelves of various depths. Slightly curved cabinets make an organic, warm impression, and sculptural rails create an elegant and grand-looking statement. This piece is perfect for a living room or as a space-saving solution in the home office. It creates a very decorative, sculpture-like effect.
