Executive desk by Warren Platner for Knoll International 1973

High-end executive desk designed by warren platner for knoll international in 1973. Supported by 2 strong "l" legs in chromed cast aluminum, a thick blackened oak top with rounded edges offers an incredible work surface entirely wrapped in black leather. Matching, and removable, a return box has 2 large drawers (without keys) and a worktop, all entirely covered with black leather too. If space is lacking, we can not assemble this box and use only the desk alone. Great class, pure line and incredible knoll quality, from another era (the tray alone must weigh 70-80 kilos, each foot 15 kilos... Etc) Everything is removable for easy transport. Very nice general condition. Note: A few chrome stitching on the desks, localized. The leather on the back box has a few marks, claws and a slight depigmentation in one corner. The leather on the main tray is in very good condition, just on the corners and edge of the leather friction marks. No holes, tears, excessive scratches. Size. Office only: width: 198 cm.
