Medical lamp by Osram G101-1930's

This vitalux model g101 lamp was designated and produced by osram in hannover, germany between 1930 and 1939. A rare and exceptional design piece in perfect working order. This lamp is made of steel and aluminum. The polished aluminum reflector is off-white ochre-white. The foot is black. It has gone through almost a century without scratches, just a nice pastry and a beautiful industrial aspect. Produced in the creative effervescence of the bauhaus period in germany between two wars, it is simple and effective. It was used in the 1930s for medical purposes thanks to uv rays that reproduce the effects of the sun (orl, muscle contractions, skin care...), hence this very wide beam of light. It comes with an e27 blue uv bulb to produce this heat as well as a normal e27 bulb for use in decorative lighting. The reflector is 180 degrees orientable. To be placed on the ground, on a console and very original, it is fixable to the wall applied (metal hanging under the foot). The original packaging is included. Replacement bulbs are still on the market. Energy-saving light bulbs are recommended. The original instructions in german are included. (cf photos). For design lovers!
