French Art Nouveau Acanthus 3-Light Bronze & Crystal Cage Chandelier.The upper section is formed as a distinctive three-sided cage, with a flame embellishment in the centre. Three gracefully scrolling arms with acanthus leaf detailing lead to leaf-shaped candle pans, while the original card candle drips show age-related wear and discolouration, adding to its authentic charm. The chandelier hangs from a decorative hoop with a three-link chain, bar and ornate ceiling fitter. The chandelier is richly embellished with an array of sparkling crystals in assorted shapes and sizes, which catch and reflect the light beautifully, lending a soft glamour to the overall piece. The chandelier has French twin core braided wiring and takes 3 bulbs small screw in type E14s. The chandelier's bronze framework is solid and sturdy, showcasing a rich, deep time-worn patina that beautifully reflects its age and history. The crystals are in good condition with no cracks just some minor nibbles at the edges. The candle drips are the old card type with only age related wear. We take great care in packing our crystal chandelier but on occasion some my work loose and it is down to you to rehang them which is usually a simple process. All of the items we sell are second hand/vintage/antique and used, so please check the photos before purchasing as these form part of the description.
