Extendable table and 4 Roundette chairs Hans Olsen

Roulette is the name of this teak set created by danish designer and architect hans olsen. It was made in the 1960s by the publisher frem rojle as evidenced by the iron marking on each of the pieces. The backs of the chairs perfectly match the line of the table's surround and thus offer an orderly design that is so scandinavian. A butterfly extension with brass hinges deploys easily to accommodate four to six guests. All the lines and proportions of this composition are superbly thought out; the legs are strong and subtle, the curved backrests are worked into the volume, the black synthetic leather seats are welcoming and the division of the top is infinitely discreet. Small shocks on one side of a backrest and two distended seats are to be regretted. This marvel of creation is in remarkable condition and the intense color of the teak is splendid. Dimensions: diam 120 cm X ht 75 cm + extension 50 cm for the table l 50 cm xp 43 cm.
