Digestive service composed of a decanter carafe and six glasses with gold edging in gold mesh, dating from the 1940s to 1950s. The carafe has a shape reminiscent of a tulip dress, with several golden edgings, thick and thin, slightly raised. Two places on the glass are polished in two strips, one on the lower part and the other, thicker, in the middle between the edges. The glass stopper, which hermetically seals the carafe to preserve the quality of the digestive inside by avoiding oxidation, vaporization and loss of flavors, is also decorated with a gold thread. The carafe as well as the stopper are numbered with the number 48 chiseled in the glass below each piece (see photos). The glasses are decorated with two thick gold borders at their base, three thin gold borders towards the upper level and another gold border at the top. The whole is shiny with great transparency, without chips or cracks. Some wear on the gold edges of some glasses due to their previous life, but this absolutely does not deteriorate their beauty (see photos). A timeless design from the mid-century era that will adapt to the years to come, maintaining a retro appearance thanks to its clean lines. The vintage retro touch, combined with the elegance of the lines, gives everything a chic and classy charm. Perfect for amateurs or professionals as part of a bar collection. 📏carafe: 18 cm h glasses: 7 cm h / 5.2 cm dia ⚖️0.732 gr.
