Old large jug, chevrette, water pitcher in glazed yellow sandstone. Early twentieth century. Very nice sandstone chevrette cooked at 1200 degrees. The jug dates from the early twentieth century and is in very good condition for its age, with a beautiful patina. It was used for water conservation. It can still be used for water or as a decorative piece. This chevrette comes from the department of ariège in the pyrenees. Large chevrette.
