Mid-century 1950s danish day bed sofa bed

Wonderful rare mid-century 1950s day bed attributed to hans j wegner. Teak frame has been lovingly restored, having had a light sand, teak stain and danish oil to seal. The cushion seats have been totally refurbished, the base of cushions have a firm sprung base and luxurious memory foam top taking the height of the cushions to 12 inches, so when you sit on it you instantly feel relaxed and very comfortable. The seat pulls out smoothly and has two legs that flip out to support the front base when in bed mode. Makes a very comfortable double bed. Newly upholstered in a wonderful yellow ochre herringbone 100% wool tweed fabric. Made in great britain. Full length storage for bedding under the seat. Great for space saving – folds up for storage.
