Description
The armchair "oyster" or "coquille" is an enveloping heater composed of a wooden shell lined with latex foam and covered with colored fabric. The fairly low base, is made of chrome tubular. Pierre paulin was inspired by eero saarinen's womb chair created in 1947. The armchair has been reupholstered with a powder pink fabric that gives a soft welcoming presence to this iconic piece.
