Don, table lamp, Ettore Sottsass

Playful reading lamp by ettore sottsass for stilnovo. Called "don", this lamp winks with its straight collar from an emerald cubic base, topped by an adjustable lampshade in the shape of a classic bowler hat. Designed in 1977, this cheeky lamp anticipates the postmodern designs that founding member ettore sottsass brought to the memphis design movement. Fantastic vintage condition, with minimal scratches on the enamelled paint of the metal base, italy, 1970s.
