Old canvas trunk with wooden reinforcements

Old trunk dated from the 30s/40s. Made of canvas, it has wooden reinforcements. The closures are in metal and the side handles in leather. One of them is torn but could easily be sewn back together. The trunk has an upper compartment that can be removed, leaving room for a lower storage space. This trunk belonged to a German family according to information provided by its former owner, and was used in the 1930s/40s. The address written on the top of the trunk corresponds to a location in England. The trunk is in good general condition. To be used as a decorative object. Dimensions: h 86.5 x 28 x 50.5 cm.
