Vintage step stool in brown formica and chrome steel

Hello, here is a stool doubled as a stepladder, dating from the 60s. The seat is in brown formica imitating wood and the two folding steps are in wood. The latter two are ribbed to minimize the risk of slipping. Aesthetically, this gives it a little extra elegance, which, for a utilitarian object, is not displeasing. The structure is made of tubular chrome metal, the feet are protected by rubber tips, protecting the person perching on them and the ground, simultaneously. It is in a very good state of conservation, showing some very slight traces of wear on the chrome parts. Its stability is optimal. It is truly an invention of the times which has not yet found a more competent replacement. When unfolded, its depth is 59 cm. Thank you for your visit.
