Very pretty set of 12 art deco knife holders in silver metal. This charming knife rest set was designed by Swiss artist Edouard Sandoz for Christofle. Each knife holder is silver plated and represents a different animal, from a hare to a peacock. The design of the different pieces reflects the cubism imbued with art deco that made Sandoz famous. Each piece is stamped "Gallia" for the Christofle line. In a perfect state. Elegant touch to adorn a table.
