Art Deco ceramic sculpture by Le Jan

Large fish sculpture in art deco ceramic, french by le jan, period 1930-1939 and coming from the saint clément factory. It has a cracked pinkish beige glaze. Width 40 cm height 30 cm depth 11.5 cm small chip on the rear fin (see photo) which is absolutely not noticeable. Le jan's sculptures are characterized by humor, kindness and imagination. A radical counter-movement compared to the animal bronzes of the 19th century.
