Rocking footrest

Here is a very practical footrest to combine with a rocking chair or rocking chair because it also rocks. Traditionally it is sold, and has been for many years, with rocking nursing chairs. It could have ended its life a few years ago, it went to the recycling center, but that was without taking into account my determination to save the objects; ) in very good structural condition, I only had to reupholster it (in stapling it over the old covering), still in good memory condition but not to my taste). Then I used it for a few years. Recently, when it no longer had any real use at home, my teenager used it a little too much (especially by standing on it!) and broke the board in two! I repaired it by gluing and screwing a new, fairly thick, very solid board underneath. It is therefore functional but does not hide some other signs of use: marks on the fabric covering, stains or more likely abrasions (well yes, it was near the game console and the irritation that goes with it when we lose; ) a whole story then, which I hope can continue in another home, perhaps reupholstered again to your liking! It measures approximately 35 cm in height, 55 cm in length and 40 cm in width.
