Mez - Carved wooden console n°2

This large solid wood console was made from an old, richly decorated door pediment, of which the two carved wooden projections, a classic element of the pediments of large indian doors, have been preserved at each end. The bleached appearance of this console highlights the finesse of the original sculptures, lightly and deliciously polished by time. A shelf has been added at the bottom of the console, the edge of which is also sculpted, to allow you to decorate it with the objects of your choice.
