Kartell magazine Rack Giotto Stoppino

The kartell magazine rack is a design by the italian designer giotto stoppino. Stoppino (1926 - 2011) earned his fame as an architect, urban planner and designer of products that have been awarded multiple compasso d'oro, the first and most important award for design. His work can be seen in the permanent collections of new york's museum of modern art and london's victoria & albert museum. In 1972 he designed the magazine rack, which was originally produced in a number of opaque 70's proof colours. The rack was also perfect for storing lps. We are now almost fifty years later and this design still exudes charm: it is timeless. The magazine rack is made of high-quality plastic, as befits kartell, and has four holders with a handle in the middle. Because the rack is resistant to weather influences, it can also be used outside or, for example, in the bathroom.
