Description
Beautiful and rare ar deco mechanical chime, westminster system and bell. It rings every quarter of an hour and every hour with different melodies. Once reassembled it can last several days. The three holes appearing at the bottom of the dial are specific to westminster clocks. Westminster is the contraction of the english word west monastery following the norman invasion of 1066. It is possible to cut the striker without stopping the mechanism. It works perfectly. The whole thing is in very good condition. It is signed westminster, l. Bernard, ploeuc. 8 hammers, 8 rods, balance and winding key.
