Ceramic dish

This large vintage clay plate, 1980s, is a peasant plate with hand-painted decoration of central bird and vegetable friezes. Its folk design and colors are emblematic of the traditional pottery of korond, transylvania, romania. Originally decorative (passage provided to insert a string of hook on the back), its wavy edge makes it possible to divert it into a presentation dish, centerpiece or fruit cup. In very good condition, diameter 31 cm - height 4 cm.
