Vintage three-seater sofa in red velvet, 1960s

This sofa was manufactured in the 1960s in the former german democratic republic. Its appearance resembles italian furniture, but made with german precision and solidity. This sofa has undergone a complete renovation. It consisted of removing the old equipment, sponges and tapes. The next step was to put on new straps and a sponge. The renovation was crowned with beautiful velvet upholstery with stain-resistant properties - the legs were cleaned and repainted with teak varnish. All stages of the renovation were carried out by hand - using the same old methods as the original. The sofa is superb. All stages of the renovation were carried out taking into account the original production process. Purchased new 18 months ago. Personal delivery only.
