Chandelier in gilded metal

A beautiful montgolfier chandelier in gold coloured metal, brass and laden with strings of cut crystals dating from the early 1920s. The chandelier is made up of two decorative rings with multiple strings of graduated sized cut glass crystals adorning the space between them. More crystals enclose the bottom of the piece with rectangular prisms between the octagonal crystals leading to a decorative ring. From the central ring hang several pointed cut glass crystal prisms. The chandelier hangs from a long 11 link chain a bar and decorative cup style ceiling fitting. The light is fitted with french twin core wiring and takes 1 large screw in bulb e27. The brass and metal frame work are in good antique condition with age related patina and marks it has been cleaned but not polished so you can decide on finish. The crystals are in good condition bright and clear with no visible chips or cracks, some may have small nibbles nothing to detract from their beauty.
