Small bedside table in marquetry in the Louis XV style.

An elegant French Louis XV style side table (or high bedside table) with three functional drawers and beautiful cabriole legs. This refined piece features exceptional geometric wood marquetry on all sides (top, side panels, and drawer fronts), highlighted by a delicate checkerboard inlay border. It is adorned with gilt brass/bronze mounts, including decorative drops at the corners, a central embellishment on the apron, ring handles on the drawers, and caps on the front feet. Dimensions: Height: 75 cm | Width: 38 cm | Depth: 30 cm. Materials: Rosewood marquetry / kingwood, gilt brass/bronze fittings. Period: Circa 1960 – 1970. Condition: Very good vintage condition with a beautiful patina and original shine. Minor wear appropriate to age and slight varnish rubbing along the upper edges (as shown in the photos), adding character to this vintage piece.
