Vintage handmade green glazed earthenware jug

Handcrafted glazed earthenware jug with a raw and authentic charm. Generous silhouette, with a rounded belly, graphic handle, and a discreet little spout. Evokes rural productions from the mid-20th century. Its soft green glaze, slightly nuanced, contrasts with the lower part left in its natural tone, offering a presence that is both simple and very decorative. Unsigned piece, with no indication of workshop or provenance, in a spirit of countryside and popular craftsmanship. In good vintage condition with manufacturing defects and wear consistent with an old handcrafted piece. Network of fine cracks in the glaze, irregularities from firing, several visible defects and areas lacking glaze, particularly at the neck and inside the spout, some signs of age and traces of use (see photos). Height 21 cm, diameter at the widest point 13 cm. A piece with embraced imperfections, where the material and the gesture take centre stage.
