4 bistro chairs with a pattern on the seat, Japy frères Baumann.

Set of 4 curved wooden chairs with a pattern on their seat. They are stamped "Japy frères et Cie, " a French company founded in 1777. To accompany the sale of its typewriters, this company had its chairs made by the Baumann factory. These 4 chairs are in good condition, with a very beautiful pattern on their seat that gives them character. They have some imperfections due to the passage of time. One leg has wood filler due to dog bite marks on a rung (see photos, everything is photographed). These timeless pieces blend with all styles. You will add a touch of originality and personality to your interior. The seats are 47cm off the ground. You will find, in my listings, other bistro chairs to create a mismatched set around your table.
