Mid-Century Modern Swedish "Houses in Nature" Vintage Landscape Oil Painting, Framed

Houses in nature. Size: 41 X 65 cm (including frame) Oil on board. A restful and serene mid-century modernist oil landscape composition, executed in oil onto board and dated 1961 to the reverse. The painting depicts a row of houses, trees, and a white monument nestled within lush greenery. The overall composition is balanced and harmonious. The combination of gentle colours and soft expressive brushstrokes complement one another, imbuing the work with a soothing quality. This oil on board is housed in a complementary wood frame with an inner linen window. The painting is in excellent vintage condition, and there is some very light scuffing to the frame.
