Hand-painted shells

Set of three shells in black lacquered wood and whose hand-painted decorations are incredibly fine. It seems to me that they are more about collectors' shells rather than for use at the table. I have not managed to find similar cockroaches, so impossible for me to tell you more about their origin... But it looks a bit like russian craftsmanship and I will lean towards the 60s but without certainty. The one with golden yellow decoration has gaps of black lacquer on the upper edge and on the lower edge of the foot and wear and tear and gaps (lacquer or varnish) inside but the decoration is intact. The one decorated with blue flowers and gilding has very small gaps of black lacquer on the upper edge and wear and tear (lacquer or varnish) inside, exterior decoration intact there too. The one decorated with small animals has a lack of black lacquer on the upper edge, lack of varnish inside and outside. They measure 7.5 cm in height, 4.5 cm in diameter at the foot and 4 cm in diameter at the top edge. The whole weighs about 90 g.
