Bronze pot cover, Meiji Japan

Japan Meiji period (1868 - 1912): splendid bronze planter with brown patina, decorated in relief with birds flying among plum tree branches. Stamp on the reverse. Accident to a bird (part missing). Oxidation inside the object. Height: 19 cm. Diameter at the neck: 17 cm.
