Original pop-art poster, reissue by Roy Lichtenstein "kiss v 1964"

Original pop art vintage reissue. Poster reissued after the American artist: Roy Lichtenstein (1923-1997) Title: Alka Seltzer from 1966. Are they tears of happiness or is she heartbroken… Without the other vignettes of the story, we can only speculate. Lichtenstein also doesn't give us a clue with one of his usual sandwiches or one of his onomatopoeias, typical of the language of the 9th art. The fact is that Lichtenstein seemed to like the girls crying in the foreground, since he has several works on the subject. Roy Lichtenstein, born October 27, 1923 in Manhattan (New York), where he died September 29, 1997, is one of the most important artists of the American pop art movement. His works are strongly inspired by advertising and popular imagery of his time, as well as comic books. He himself describes his style as being “as artificial as possible”.
