S45 or Chlacc model chairs in solid elm by Pierre Chapo, produced by the Chapo workshops in the 1970s in France. Very good condition. 10 chairs available. Sold individually. Price indicated per chair. The S45 chair is complex to produce from a technical and conceptual standpoint. The weight of the individual primarily rests on the crossing of the "chlacc" legs, and the strength of the backrest is ensured by its anchoring in the two rear legs, which are inclined at more than 45 degrees. The S45 chair is one of the most sculptural creations in the Chapo catalogue, whose overall aesthetic is reminiscent of the iconic tower of the capital where the creator was born.
