Description
An old chinese porcelain plate from the east india company. Floral decoration imari, and garland of flowers under the wing. Stamp seal under the base. Period: xviiith. Diameter 23 cm. Good condition. The compagnie des indes began with portugal, then expanded with the dutch and english market to develop in france in 1642 and experienced a real boom from colbert in 1664.la company closed around 1795. Pink family: period from 1730 to the early nineteenth century with an opaque enamel dominant rose d'or (pale pink, coral red, purple, salmon and lavender blue).
