Description
Rare coffee service consisting of 6 coffee cups, 6 saucers and a sugar bowl from the famous german manufacturer rosenthal. This model was published by studio linie, the department which offers artistic collaborations with major designers. Its design was created by hertha bengtson (1917-1993), one of sweden's most famous ceramists. His creations are also exhibited at the national museum of art and design in stockholm. This very graphic model dates from the 1970s, it is called marino and is part of the "caldo freddo" tableware series. The pieces are in excellent condition, like new, despite their age. Dimensions: cups: diameter 6.7 cm X ht 5.7 cm saucers: diameter: 14 cm sugar bowl: diameter 9.5 cm X ht 6 cm.
