Iridescent vase by F. Pečeny Heřmanova huť, Czechoslovakia, 1970s

The vase by františek pečeny, made by unia szklana teplice at the heřmanova huť glassworks, is an impressive composition of hand-pressed glass. When the light falls at the right angle, the vase presents iridescent colors. The vase is undamaged and was designed by františek pečený (1920 -1977) in the second half of the 20th century, more precisely in 1977. The original project was processed by sklo union teplice at the heřmanova huť glassworks under the model number 20307. Vases of this type appear very rarely. The interesting thing about this vase is that it was published only posthumously. The vase has been published in several books, for example hi sklo lo sklo, post war czech glass design on page 94.
