St Louis XVI cylinder desk with marquetry and gilt bronze

Louis XVI style marquetry cylinder desk in citronnier and gilt bronze. It opens with four drawers in the belt, the cylinder is centered by a bronze medallion decorated with doves. The interior has drawers and compartments, a black leather writing desk. Sheathed base finished with bronze sabots. Upper part with ogee, marquetry top with an openwork bronze gallery. Ingot mold top, rich gilt bronze ornamentation. Four marquetry sides. Period circa 1920. One leg broken. The cylinder cracked. Writing desk leather torn. Writing desk height 72 cm
