St Louis XVI cylinder desk with marquetry and gilded bronze

Louis XVI style marquetry cylinder desk in lemon tree and gilded bronze. It opens with four drawers in the belt, the cylinder is centered by a bronze medallion decorated with doves. The interior has drawers and compartments, a black leather writing desk. Sheath base finished with bronze sabots. Upper part with ogee, marquetry top with an openwork bronze gallery. Ingot mold top, rich gilded bronze ornamentation. Four marquetry faces. Period circa 1920. Very good condition. Writing desk height: 76 cm.
