This spectacular glass-fronted oak bonnetière is an old clock case transformed into a storage unit. With its height of 2.30 m, its particularly slender silhouette makes it a unique piece while maintaining a small footprint. Materials: Made from solid oak, this bonnetière features a beautiful natural patina. Its door combines a solid panel at the bottom and a large glass section at the top. Features: The furniture opens with a large glass door at the top and has four fixed shelves for displaying books, crockery, or collectibles. Its former function as a clock explains its atypical proportions, particularly tall and narrow. The moulded cornice that crowns the piece emphasises its verticality. Renovation: The furniture has been completely sanded and washed, then left in raw wood. The solid pine shelves have been custom-made and stained. Dimensions: W70 X D38 X H231. Interior: W54 X D29 X H218. Spacing between the shelves from top to bottom: 62-36.5-36.5-36.5-39. An old solid oak clock repurposed into a tall glass-fronted bonnetière, remarkable for its height, narrow proportions, and beautiful presence.
