Single french bronze jj ghidini sconce with leaf detail opaque glass shade 3980

Vintage french bronze art nouveau style single wall sconce with a white opaque glass shade. The oval back plate is in a traditional style with stylised leaf detail. From the back plate comes a single curved arm with groove and leaf detail leading to a round shade holder. The shade is in white opaque glass and is decorated with large leaf shapes and has a shaped edge. The sconce is stamped on the inside of the shade holder with the makers name j j ghidini and the words bronze moddep. The light is wired with french twin core wiring and takes 1 large screw bulb e27. The bronze has lovely aged patina, and light marks associated with age. The shade is complete and free from chips or cracks.
