Designer lamp base from “maison le dauphin”

From my personal collection of ceramics, here is a rare and unique lamp base from the house " le dauphin" france in white ceramic in a baluster shape with a unique colorful pop-art modernist decor. As for the decor, it is really in the style of roland brice (1911-1989) without being signed; the vase being dated between 1986-1990' s, it is possible that there was a collaboration given that it was at this time that the company was attempting a turnaround/renewal. However, the shape of this lamp base is very rare and the decor even more so and stands out a little in view of the usually more classic products of this house renowned for its high quality articles. In fact I searched for a long time and didn' t find anything similar or even resembling... The foot is identified on the socket and the manufacturer' s sticker is present at the base in the classic place. Everything is original on this lamp (delivered without lampshade): e27 socket, wiring and switch, black felt under the base. The design is so special that you could, if you wish, remove the lighting system and use it as a piece of modern art decoration. Perfect condition without chips, cracks or other defects. Height without socket 35cm, total height 44cm, base diameter 12cm, maximum diameter 21cm, weight 2kgs in total.
