Elegant pair of candle holders / candlesticks model L102/32 designed by Hans-Agne Jakobsson and manufactured in Markaryd, Sweden in the 1970s. Made of solid brass with their blown glass tinted globes, these candle holders were originally designed for the Asp-Holmblads restaurant candles. Their minimalist silhouette and warm materials make them icons of Scandinavian design. The set consists of an amber globe and a slightly smoked globe, offering a very nice decorative balance. The brass has a superb original patina. Both glasses are in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks. Each candle holder is equipped with an ingenious spring mechanism hidden in the brass base, which gradually pushes the candle upwards as it burns, keeping the flame at the right height inside the glass globe. The largest candle holder still retains its original Hans-Agne Jakobsson label. A decorative and sought-after pair, perfect for a contemporary or vintage interior. Dimensions: H 34 × Ø 16.5 cm / H 25 × Ø 16.5 cm.
