So many memories of vacations, of the beach, with this racket from the game we then called jokari. But also discoveries: this game was originally created in 1938 and its patent filed by Louis Joseph Miremont in Bayonne, to make Basque pelota accessible to children and above all without the need for a fronton! And the ball being attached to an elastic band, this game also allowed you to play alone. This racket mentions the name joc'hiki, I have not been able to find any information allowing me to say whether this name ("registered game and trademark" written on the racket) is before or after the name euskal jokari, which seems to be the official name, so I cannot date it precisely. I therefore offer you this old racket, which must date from between the 1940s and 1970s, and which can be used to complete a game, as an element of sports decoration on the wall or even be used under an original dish on Table! It is still solid but does not hide the marks of its age: a not very significant crack and various marks and stains. It measures 39 cm in length, 13.5 cm in width, 1 cm in thickness.
