Hanging lamp circa 50

Beautiful, art déco-style, vintage pendant light from france, circa 50's. Piece features a very nice blown glass shade, with a granulated, frosted milk glass, With 3 chrome rings, mounted on a brushed metal handle / arm. The lamp has been gently cleaned, to preserve the original details and patina of the piece. There are signs of age commensurate with time (see photos.) The frosted glass shade is in excellent original condition, there is no chips or cracks. Chrome decor is lightly faded to a pale gold color. The patina is also in fantastic condition, with some areas shining. More brilliantly than others. On either side of the rings (or rims), there are 3 hand screws, which make it. Possible to remove the glass shade, in order to fit the light bulb into the socket. On the very top of the brushed metal handle / arm, there is a brushed metal cap, which enables one. To hide the wiring. In order to hold the cap in place, there is a small screw (see photo.) There is a hook on top of the handle to attach the lamp to a ceiling. The light has its original wire, has been tested and functions perfectly, with a standard, B22, bayonet lightbulb (not included.)
