Composed of 2 pears, 2 apples, an orange, a bunch of grapes and 2 bananas, this rare work loaded with symbols was created by a very promising artist who died at the age of 27 in the war. The apple evokes birth and fertility, it is the image of femininity and voluptuousness. Consumed since ancient times, the apple is like all fruits, a living product, generator of joy and pleasure. It is a sign of hospitality and generosity of nature. The pear represents femininity, but by its shape, with greater nobility. Since 1980, it has also been the symbol of time.
